Applications
Used for aluminum and copper stranded splice and tap connections within the 350 MCM - 8 AWG range for aboveground service-entrance and distribution work. This connector is not rated for direct burial.
Installation
Apply anti-oxidant to aluminum conductors, insert the run and tap between the bolt and strap with the spacer seated between dissimilar conductors, then tighten to 650 in-lb.
