Lugs

Electrical lugs terminate conductors at bus bars, panels, equipment, grounding points, and other bolted connections. Choose mechanical lugs when the conductor is secured by a set screw, or compression lugs when the termination requires a manufacturer-specified crimp. Start with conductor size and copper or aluminum compatibility, then confirm conductor count, stud size, one- or two-hole mounting, and available termination space. Compression installations also require the exact approved crimping tool, die, and crimp sequence for the selected lug.
