Product Overview

The Utopia Lighting EM is a commercial LED emergency light intended for emergency egress and path-of-egress illumination. It provides a minimum 90 minutes of emergency runtime using an internal NiCd battery and is UL 924 listed.

Configurable with optional self-diagnostic testing (SDT), optional remote capacity (RC), and available finishes. Suitable for surface mounting on wall or ceiling and listed for damp locations.

The Utopia Lighting EM provides emergency illumination from its internal LED lamp heads when AC power is lost, supporting egress and path-of-egress lighting needs.

Emergency runtime and battery

Equipped with a maintenance-free NiCd battery designed to supply a minimum of 90 minutes of emergency operation per UL 924 requirements.

• Battery: 3.6 V NiCd rechargeable.
• Fully automatic two-rate charger to recharge a discharged battery within 24 hours (manufacturer specification).

Electrical and controls

Includes the electrical features required for code-compliance testing and automatic emergency transfer.

• Charge-rate/power ON LED indicator and push-to-test switch provided.
