• Recessed receptacle design keeps cords below the floor surface
• Stamped steel box construction to support device alignment during installation

What this floor box provides

The RRFB-MB provides an in-floor duplex receptacle location with a flip-lid cover. It ships with a factory-installed 15A (tamper-resistant) Decora duplex receptacle and a matte-black round flip-lid that opens without tools for access.

• Round recessed floor box with dual-service receptacle location
• Flip-lid cover lifts for access and returns flush when closed
• Recessed receptacle lowers cord profile relative to the floor surface

Recommended applications

This model is used in commercial and residential floor installations where a recessed, low-profile outlet in a dark finish is preferred.

• Commercial examples: offices, conference rooms, lobbies, retail areas
• Residential examples: living spaces where an outlet is needed away from walls
• Designed for finished floors over carpet, tile, or wood

Compatibility and installation notes

Verify the rough opening and installation method match a round concrete or round drop-in floor box footprint and confirm the branch circuit is appropriate for a 15A Decora receptacle before installation.

• Floor box type: round concrete or round drop-in — check rough opening dimensions
• Confirm branch-circuit amperage and wiring method are appropriate for a 15A receptacle
• Replacement cover part number: RRFB-MBP
