Focus Industries WT312900 Landscape Transformer

Product Overview

The Focus Industries WT312900 is a 300W landscape transformer that converts line voltage to low-voltage power for landscape lighting systems.

Designed for contractor and multi-fixture installations, the WT312900 provides a fixed 300W output for running 12V LED or low-voltage fixtures when sized appropriately.

Key Features

• 300W output rated for low-voltage landscape lighting
• Converts line voltage to 12V suitable for common landscape fixtures
• Intended for multi-fixture runs and contractor installations
• Requires proper sizing to total connected load and confirmation of output taps and cable gauge prior to installation

What this transformer does

The WT312900 supplies a dedicated 300W of low-voltage power by converting standard line voltage to 12V output for landscape lighting systems. It is intended to power multiple low-voltage fixtures from a single centralized transformer.

• Output wattage: 300W
• Output voltage: 12V (low-voltage landscape lighting)

Where to use it

This transformer is suited for outdoor landscape lighting runs, contractor-specified installations, and other low-voltage lighting layouts that require a centralized 300W supply.

• Common uses: multi-fixture garden, pathway, and accent lighting circuits
• Target users: electrical contractors and landscape lighting professionals

Electrical and load guidance

Size the WT312900 to the total connected load with appropriate headroom. Confirm that the transformer's output taps and the specified wattage match the total fixture load and the cable gauge used for the run.

• Confirm total fixture wattage does not exceed 300W (allow margin per local practice)
• Verify wire gauge and run length are compatible with low-voltage distribution and chosen taps

Installation and compatibility notes

Before installation, confirm the model number and match the transformer output characteristics to your fixture requirements. The WT312900 should be installed following local electrical codes and conventional transformer installation practices.

• Confirm output taps and wattage match the fixture run and cable gauge before installation
• Follow local electrical code and installer best practices for mounting and wiring

Before You Order

Confirm the model number and quantity required before ordering. Verify that a 300W transformer meets your total connected fixture load and that output taps and cable gauge suit your run length and layout.

• Confirm total fixture wattage and allow appropriate headroom
• Verify cable gauge and run length compatibility with low-voltage distribution
• Consult an electrician or landscape lighting professional if unsure about sizing or installation
