Focus Industries RXT12300MVDT Landscape Transformer

Product Overview

The Focus Industries RXT12300MVDT is a 300W landscape transformer that converts line voltage to 12V low-voltage power for landscape lighting systems.

Constructed in stainless steel, this transformer is intended for contractor installations and multi-fixture low-voltage runs; size the unit to the connected load with appropriate headroom.

Key Features

• 300W output for low-voltage landscape lighting
• Stainless-steel construction
• Designed for multi-fixture runs and contractor installations
• Converts line voltage to 12V low-voltage output

What this transformer does

The RXT12300MVDT supplies 300 watts of low-voltage power by converting building line voltage to a 12V output suitable for landscape lighting fixtures. Use it to power multiple low-voltage fixtures from a single dedicated transformer.

• Output wattage: 300W
• Output voltage: 12V (low-voltage landscape systems)

Intended applications

This model is intended for typical low-voltage landscape lighting applications that require a centralized 12V supply. It is described for contractor-grade installations and multi-fixture runs.

• Landscape and outdoor accent lighting runs
• Multi-fixture residential or commercial low-voltage systems
• Contractor installations where a stainless-steel enclosure is preferred

Sizing and installation guidance

Size the transformer to the total connected load with additional headroom to avoid running at maximum capacity. Confirm the transformer's output taps and total wattage match the fixture run and cable gauge before installation.

• Calculate total fixture wattage and add headroom when selecting capacity
• Verify output taps and cable gauge compatibility for voltage drop and run length
• Follow local electrical code and manufacturer installation practices for line-voltage connections and grounding

Materials and durability

The RXT12300MVDT features a stainless-steel construction, which provides corrosion resistance compared with standard painted housings. Assess mounting location and enclosure requirements per project specifications.

• Enclosure material: Stainless Steel

Before You Order

Confirm the model number and total connected load before ordering. Verify the transformer's output taps and wattage match your fixture run and cable gauge requirements.

• Confirm model: RXT12300MVDT
• Determine total fixture wattage and required headroom
• Verify cable gauge and run length for acceptable voltage drop
