Focus Industries MLT312900MV2 Landscape Transformer

Product Overview

The Focus Industries MLT312900MV2 is a 300W low-voltage landscape transformer built in a stainless-steel enclosure. It converts line voltage to 12V for powering multiple low-voltage landscape fixtures.

Designed for contractor installations and multi-fixture runs, the unit provides a centralized power source for outdoor landscape lighting systems. Size the transformer to the total connected load with appropriate headroom.

Key Features

• Output wattage: 300W
• Low-voltage output suitable for 12V landscape lighting
• Stainless-steel construction for durability
• Single-SKU product: MLT312900MV2

Function and intended use

This transformer supplies low-voltage power for landscape lighting by converting standard line voltage to 12V output. It is intended for use as the central power source in outdoor landscape lighting systems and multi-fixture runs.

• Primary use: power distribution to 12V landscape fixtures
• Target customers: contractors and landscape lighting installers

Output and capacity

The MLT312900MV2 provides a total output capacity of 300W. Use this value to size the transformer against the combined wattage of connected fixtures and any in-line losses.

• Total output: 300 watts
• Convert line voltage to 12V for low-voltage fixtures

Sizing and installation notes

Size the transformer to the total connected load with additional headroom to avoid operating at maximum capacity. Confirm that the transformer's output taps and wattage are compatible with the fixture run and the cable gauge used on the project.

• Verify total fixture wattage + headroom ≤ 300W
• Confirm output taps and cable gauge compatibility before installation

Construction and finish

The enclosure is stainless steel, providing durability for above-grade installation locations typical in landscape lighting systems.

• Material: stainless steel enclosure

Before You Order

Confirm the model number and total quantity required. Verify the transformer's 300W capacity, output taps, and compatibility with your fixture wattage and cable gauge before placing an order.

• Confirm model: MLT312900MV2
• Confirm total connected load (wattage) and required headroom
• Confirm output taps and cable gauge match the installation
