Focus Industries DBS66JB Landscape Transformer

Product Overview

The Focus Industries DBS66JB is a landscape transformer designed to convert line voltage to low-voltage power for landscape lighting systems.

This unit is intended for use in low-voltage landscape lighting runs and contractor installations where a dedicated transformer is required.

Key Features

• Converts line voltage to low-voltage (12V) output for landscape lighting
• Designed for multi-fixture runs and contractor-grade installations
• Sold as SKU DBS66JB

What this transformer does

The DBS66JB provides low-voltage power for landscape lighting by converting standard line voltage to a 12V output suitable for low-voltage LED and halogen fixtures. It is intended to serve as the centralized power source for multi-fixture landscape lighting circuits.

• Primary role: convert line voltage to 12V low-voltage output
• Suitable for powering multiple landscape fixtures in a run

Recommended applications

Use the DBS66JB in residential or commercial low-voltage landscape lighting installations where a dedicated transformer is required. It is suitable for contractor installations and multi-fixture runs.

• Landscape lighting circuits
• Contractor-specified outdoor lighting projects
• Multi-fixture low-voltage runs

Installation and sizing guidance

Size the transformer to the total connected load with appropriate headroom. Confirm that the transformer's available output taps and wattage match the total fixture load and that the cable gauge is suitable for the run to avoid voltage drop.

• Calculate total fixture wattage and allow headroom when selecting transformer capacity
• Verify output taps and wattage compatibility with the fixture run
• Confirm cable gauge and run length to limit voltage drop

Before You Order

Confirm the model number and the total connected load and output requirements before ordering.

• Verify the transformer's output taps and wattage meet your fixture load and cable gauge requirements
• Confirm quantity required for your project
