Product Overview

The Diode LED MikroDIM DI-MKD-12V60W is a 12 VDC, 60 W constant-voltage electronic dimmable driver for compatible low-voltage LED lighting.

It accepts 120 VAC input, has Class 2 output and requires no minimum load. The driver is rated for indoor or damp locations and has an IP20 case.

12 V Constant-Voltage Output for Loads up to 60 W

The DI-MKD-12V60W provides regulated 12 VDC constant-voltage output and supports a maximum load of 60 W. Select it for compatible 12 V LED tape or fixtures, keeping the connected load within the driver's maximum rating.

The driver accepts 120 VAC input and has Class 2 output. Its specified efficiency is 85%, with power factor greater than 0.9.

ELV Dimming and Listed Lighting Options

This MikroDIM driver uses electronic low-voltage (ELV) dimming and has no minimum load. Listed dimmers are Lutron Caseta PD-5NE, Diva DVELV-300P and Maestro MAELV-600.

Listed tape-light families are BLAZE, BLAZE Wet Location, BLAZE X, BLAZE X Wet Location, BLAZE COLORS, BLAZE Mini and NEON BLAZE. The driver is not for use with AlphaTECH X, GRAZE X, STREAMLITE, VALENT or VALENT X tape lights. Use with AFCI breakers is not recommended.

Indoor and Damp-Location Rating

The driver is rated for indoor or damp locations and has an IP20 case. Its specified working humidity is 10–90% RH, non-condensing. The manufacturer lists an ambient temperature range of -4 to 113°F (-20 to 45°C) and an operating temperature range of -40 to 176°F (-40 to 80°C).

Dimensions and Installation Requirements

The DI-MKD-12V60W measures 3.05 × 1.36 × 1.03 in. (78 × 35 × 27 mm), in length, width and height. Input and output connections are wire type.
