What this fixture does

The CL-233-AB is an in-grade well light built to deliver controlled uplighting from a flush, buried installation. Its adjustable louver lets you direct illumination while reducing glare and stray light.

• Purpose: exterior accent and architectural uplighting
• Design: adjustable louvered trim for aiming the beam

Lamp compatibility and output control

This model accepts a standard MR-16 lamp; beam spread and luminous output are determined by the specific MR-16 lamp you choose. The fixture is supplied without a lamp, so select an MR-16 (halogen or compatible LED MR-16) that matches your desired beam angle and color temperature.

• Lamp type required: MR-16 (sold separately)
• Choose lamp wattage and beam to set brightness and distribution

Mounting and site placement

The CL-233-AB ships with a direct-burial mounting intended for placement in soil or planting beds. Set the fixture at the intended grade and aim the louver as required before final backfill.

• Mounting: direct burial
• Installation note: confirm a matched low-voltage transformer and wiring suitable for landscape systems

Typical applications

Use this well light for discrete, in-grade uplighting where a durable brass fixture and adjustable aiming are required.

• In-grade uplighting of trees and columns
• Flagpole and signage illumination
• Flush accent lighting in lawns and planting beds
