Key Features

• 300W output for low-voltage landscape lighting
• 12V AC output
• Stainless-steel enclosure intended for outdoor-rated installation
• Model designation indicates a 2-zone configuration

What this transformer does

The ABBA Lighting STS300-2 ZONE supplies 12V AC low-voltage power to landscape lighting circuits and is intended to feed fixtures such as path lights, spotlights, and well lights from a centralized transformer.

• Provides 12V AC output for low-voltage landscape systems
• Rated for a total connected load up to 300W

Power and output

Use the transformer's 300W capacity and 12V AC output when planning fixture loads and cable runs to avoid exceeding its rated capacity.

• Wattage: 300W
• Output: AC 12V

Installation and compatibility notes

Size the transformer above the total connected fixture wattage and verify wire gauge and run length to minimize voltage drop. The model designation indicates two zones; confirm zoning or timer needs when selecting controls.

• Verify model number and wiring requirements before installation
• Match output voltage (12V) to connected fixtures
• Select appropriate wire gauge and consider run length to limit voltage drop

Construction and environment

The unit uses a stainless-steel enclosure intended for outdoor-rated installation. Follow local electrical code and standard outdoor mounting practices.

• Enclosure: Stainless steel
• Intended for outdoor-rated installation

Before You Order

Confirm the model and that 12V AC output and 300W capacity meet your fixtures' requirements.

• Match output voltage (12V) to fixtures
• Ensure total connected load does not exceed 300W
• Verify wire gauge and run length to limit voltage drop
