Morris 96026 Aluminum Parallel Groove Clamp, 2-Bolt, 397.5 MCM Main

Morris's 96026 is a 2-bolt aluminum parallel groove clamp for heavy-duty service-entrance and distribution line taps, joining a 1/0 AWG - 397.5 MCM (Cu/Al) main to a 6-2/0 AWG (Cu/Al) tap. It is machined from thermally treated extruded aluminum alloy, dual rated for copper, aluminum, and ACSR, and pre-filled with antioxidant inhibitor.

Installation

Insert the main and tap conductors into the grooves and tighten the galvanized bolt(s) with a wrench to seat both conductors against the antioxidant-filled body.
