Applications
Used for aluminum and copper stranded splice and tap connections within the 500 MCM - 2 AWG range for aboveground service-entrance and distribution work. This connector is not rated for direct burial.
Installation
Apply anti-oxidant to aluminum conductors, insert the run and tap between the bolt and strap with the spacer seated between dissimilar conductors, then tighten to 825 in-lb.
