Morris's 68164 is black heavy-wall heat shrink tubing in a 4 ft length for #8 AWG - #6 AWG cable, supplied at 0.51" and recovering to 0.16" at a 3:1 shrink ratio. The 4-foot length has a thermoplastic adhesive liner for complete environmental protection. It is rated 600-1000V at 90°C continuous use, is corrosion and chemical resistant, and holds better mechanically with better underground protection than medium wall.

Applications

Slide the tubing over the joint and apply heat evenly from the center outward until fully recovered and adhesive flows from the ends.
